Scotchcast #52 delayed

Posted in Announcements on September 1st, 2011

Unfortunately there will be delay in the release of Scotchcast #52. As we noted on our Facebook page, the Scotchcast is at Dragon*Con. Sadly my MacBook did not survive the trip to Atlanta and I was in process of editing the show as we traveled. We'll get it out to you as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

The Bronze Age

Posted in Podcasts on August 7th, 2011

The Bronze Age is a period characterized by the use of copper and its alloy bronze as the chief hard materials in the manufacture of implements and weapons. While the items we have this time, namely the Ben Nevis 10 year and Aberlour 12 year Double Cask Matured, can hardly be described as containing anything "hard", they both do contain some qualities of bronze and one even has a taste of copper. At least Jeff thinks so...

Special Edition

Posted in Podcasts on July 7th, 2011

Special edition! Read all about it! The Scotchcast marks it's 50th show!

While it is our 50th show, the "Special Editions" are actually the scotches we'll be tasting this time around. They are the Oban Distiller's Edition and Dalwhinnie Distiller's Edition 1992. We are joined for the occasion by two very special friends, and We'll also be discussing some listener feedback. So join in the fun as we realize we've been through ONE HUNDRED bottles of scotch, and we don't plan on stopping anytime soon!
