Soup’s on!

Ok, yes it’s turning fall but it’s not quite time for the nice warm soup yet. We are however, tasting two Campbeltown scotches the Glen Scotia 12 year and the Springbank 10 year. In this month’s Scotch 101 we’ll be resonding to a listener question about oxidation, we’ll be looking at some listener feedback, and sending out a big thank you as well!

Next time we’ll be tasting the Cardhu 12 year and the Tamdhu 10 year.

   We actually saw you Saturday night at Tee & Pip’s party. We were the three sitting around in kilts. Didn’t see your comment until yesterday when we were getting ready to leave DragonCon. Would have liked to talk to you for a bit. Maybe next year.

   That is a very good point. You could meet up with me. Michael & Jeff are in Michigan, so a meet up with them would be a bit more involved.

   If they come down here again anytime soon, we will certainly have to plan a get together.

   It is good to know that there is at least on other podcaster in NE Ohio. Thought I was all alone after Chris Miller went out West.

   Hey guys, catching up on the casts. Bad listener! No biscuit.

   Anyway, the comments you guys made about “another scotch that is better neat” brought a suggestion to mind: can you add it to the score archive? A column that indicates whether there was a preference for neat or with water among the 3 of you. Just a thought. I find myself turning to that page when it is time to shop for a bottle and it would be a great reference.
